Videye Media has been working with Roxy Ball Room since 2021, producing dynamic FPV drone videos for venues across the UK. The goal was simple: to showcase the true scale, layout, and atmosphere of each venue in a way traditional video and photography simply can’t.
FPV drone fly-throughs allow viewers to experience the space as if they’re walking through it themselves highlighting games areas, bars, social spaces, and overall flow in one seamless shot. This makes them a powerful tool for launches, social media, and brand awareness.
The first FPV video created for Roxy Ball Room quickly went viral, reaching 2.5 million views, driven by its fresh perspective and a style of indoor drone footage that audiences in the UK hadn’t seen before. Since then, FPV content has become a key part of Roxy’s marketing, with Videye Media commissioned to film every new venue opening.
All flights are carried out with full GVC certification and insurance, allowing us to safely fly in close proximity to people and within live environments. While many people imagine drones as large, heavy machines, we use a custom-engineered micro FPV drone, weighing just 230g lighter than most smartphones. Fitted with propeller guards and a stripped-down camera setup, it’s designed specifically for safe indoor flying while still delivering high-impact visuals.
